How to de-escalate conflict situation verbally

Let’s discuss the ways how to de-escalate verbally a potentially violent situation. For example, you make an eye contact with a tough guy who says "What are you looking at, motherfucker?" or something like this. How to respond in this situation to settle the matter without using force?
Remember: your main weapon is patience. Keep in mind your goal: de-escalation/escape. Don’t rise to the bait – don’t get emotionally tied to your opponent’s responses. If you go up against a blade, getting cut has to be expected. Similarly, if you want to de-escalate aggression, you have to expect taking some verbal abuse. Accept it. Don’t rise to it.
Keep using closed statements that stop the conversation.
If you're asked “What are you looking at?” the easy answer is to say something along the lines of, "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were someone I knew. My mistake, sorry," and start to move away. If after this the guy pursues the issue, you know he is just out for a fight and you must then prepare for self defense. To reduce the ‘squeaky voice’ effect common when you get a heightened level of adrenaline in your system, look down slightly as you speak. Looking upwards makes your voice squeakier.
Making open statements only invites more conversation. If someone has engaged you in a verbal confrontation, they haven't yet justified in their mind a physical attack. They may still be trying to figure you out as a fighter, looking to distract you to set you up for a proactive strike, or simply cannot yet justify physically attacking you yet. What they are looking is for a reason, and using open statements and questions keeps you in the conversation longer. Give yourself more rope, and eventually they'll find a reason to escalate to a full out attack.
Not providing them with open statements means that they'll usually run out things to say pretty soon, e.g.:
- What do you think you’re looking at?
- Nothing, mate!
- You were, you were f****ng looking at me!
- Look mate, sorry I really didn't realize I was
- Well you f****ng was!
- Sorry!
Something else that can be effective is to put subtle commands into your placation of an aggressor. This could be as simple as not using 'please' in your discussions (it is easy to become overly polite in de-escalation situations), so if they are shouting simply use direct language to quieten them. When they do quieten down, they have done what they have been told, this removes control of the situation from them without them realizing consciously and makes it far easier to make them go away- it does work, but you have to get it right as it’s a fine balance.

You wouldn't really kick someone in the groin..., would you???

He is a  great guy and a good master  look some of his advices and his website

There's No Such Thing As a Fair Fight:
Several Dirty Tactics

by Keith Pascal http://www.advantagemartialarts.com/contact_us.html

"You wouldn't really kick someone in the groin,
would you?"

I am occasionally asked that question by some of
my novice students. I think that they feel it would
be dishonorable to use "unfair" tactics and techniques
in a fight.

"You wouldn't really kick someone in the groin,
would you?"

First, let me emphasize, there is a difference between
sparring and an actual self-defense situation. In a
classroom session, you may have to set up guidelines
or rules, in order to keep everyone safe. On the street,
you are defending yourself, to stay alive.

Don't treat the two situations as though they were
the same "animal."

They aren't.

Many of the best martial artists are honorable
people. Some even have a gentle nature about them, as
a result of gaining confidence, while disciplining
the mind.

This gentle nature develops with years of constant
training. The "best" of these gentle folk would still
do what it takes to survive in a real encounter.

So, what kinds of techniques would be considered unfair?
Before we get down to specifics, let me give you
some general advice:

* Any move that is illegal in competition, should be
considered fair game on the street. Maybe the reason
it was made illegal is just what you need to really
  defend yourself.

* Anything that could be labeled as a "cheap shot."
Taking advantage of your opponent's weakness, injury,
or disability is considered a cheap shot. So is
catching your opponent off guard. And "faking"
or feinting is definitely cheap. USE THEM ALL!

* Taking advantage of your environment is both cheap
and 'unfair.' That's why 'I' wouldn't hesitate to use
anything available to stay safe. Dirt or gravel
in the face sounds effective. Sticks, canes, and even
umbrellas can be used as bludgeons to pound on
  an attacker. Get the idea?

Recently, I examined some of the tactics and
techniques I use that might be considered unfair.

There were too many to name.

I realized that a fair bit of my system is based on
taking advantage of the immediate situation any way I
can.

"Any way I can" translates to a lot of unfair tactics.
A few of the tactics that I consider basic, yet
super essential are:

*Obviously, go for the groin. Just think how
awesome you'd be if your goal were to plaster the
crotch, no matter what else happened in the fight.
You might get tagged, but you would reach your goal--
and probably defend yourself in the long run.

*I would head for the eyes with an almost equal intensity
as I would to the groin. Eye jabs are great. You extend
your distance a bit. They are fast. If you actually
succeeded with an eye jab against a serious assailant,
would you have anything more to worry about (except
being sued by the criminal or put in jail for
    excessive violence)?

*I step on feet. If I have my foot firmly planted on
the lead foot of my opponent, I know that at
least the front foot won't be kicking at me.
    Enough said.

You do realize that whenever you go into "unfair mode,"
you are probably increasing the potential legal damage.

In today's society, throwing "any sort" of kick or
punch will probably attract some sort of legal repercussion,
let alone an "unfair" technique.

Just keep in mind that a lot of times you can't plead
minimal force in the eyes of the court ... if you do
something that seems unjust. I am not the first to
notice that justice in the courts can easily
be skewed by perception.

Be careful.
Bonus Unfair Tactic:

*Use a control maneuver in between two series
        of damaging blows. Huh?

Here's what I mean: Usually, a wrist lock
or an arm bar would be thought of as a
controlling move to bring a sequence to a
        controlled close.

Instead, I continue wailing on my opponent
        "after" I gain control.

I have my initial strikes -- after all, I
wouldn't try to respond to my opponent's
attack with a lock before I countered with
        strikes of my own.

After doing some initial damage to my attacker,
I am ready to try some sort of joint lock. OK,
I lock my attacker. Am I done? Not a chance.

Now that I have some more control, I can
really start to defend myself. I don't even
pause between the lock and when I start to
        pound,in theory....

***Caution***

Yep, this is an unfair move. And you might be
in real trouble with the law.

You went beyond minimum force, and not only that, but
the attack might have been considered over, if you
stopped after you got control, and then started
a  "new attack," (in the eyes of the law).

be pushed, before you'd "do whatever it takes to survive."

Avoid conflict at "almost" all costs. Take responsibility
for your actions. Be ethical. Be moral. Yet survive.

And     Have a nice day :-)

One must simply continue . .....Ask yourself

Awakening and the Great Fall Something beautiful and profound happened to me this year. In the early months of 2011, a challenge in my personal life caused a shift in my inner state of being. Complete self-acceptance and realizing the truth about this situation pushed me over the edge into sheer bliss. I awakened.   A life that we live predominantly in our heads—completely lost in thought. Most of us are unaware of this, but our minds are compulsively active. Thinking about things that make us feel a sense of disharmony, dissatisfaction, and generalized unhappiness.
After the Fall, one must simply continue . The voice that complains,
tells you how worthless and unhappy you are, etc. This is the voice of
the ego and nothing more. At present, there are very few people on the
planet who do not suffer from this terrible affliction in one form or another
you have to start with yourself and take responsibility for  being at any
given moment. That means now. Ask yourself, ‘Is there negativity in me
at this moment?’ Then, become alert, attentive to your thoughts as well
as your emotions.
Taking responsibility for your being is your
primary purpose in life. This can be an incredibly liberating realization
and at the same time a daunting one because it means that you can no
longer blame anyone else for your unhappiness. Your happiness, as it
turns out, is entirely up to you.

Illuminati

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Adam Weishaupt, founder
The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name given to several groups, both historical and modern, and both real and fictitious. Historically, the name refers specifically to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776.
In modern times it is also used to refer to a purported conspiratorial organization which acts as a shadowy "power behind the throne", allegedly controlling world affairs through present day governments and corporations, usually as a modern incarnation or continuation of the Bavarian Illuminati. In this context, the Illuminati are believed to be the masterminds behind events that will lead to the establishment of a New World Order.

Illuminati and The Conspiracy Theory

A key figure in the conspiracy theory movement, Myron Fagan, devoted his latter years to finding evidence that a variety of historical events from Waterloo, The French Revolution, JFK's assassination and the communist plot to hasten the New World Order by infiltrating the Hollywood film industry, were all orchestrated by the Illuminati.
It is to be noted that the main groundswell of interest in the Illuminati and the assertions that it exists today began after the publication of The Illuminatus trilogy, written in the 1970s by two then Playboy associate editors, Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. A post-modern science fiction work, the trilogy looked at the Illuminati's plot to rule the world, whilst fighting opposition.
Modern theorists have incorporated these fictional ideas, with ever more bizarre twists. One Dr. John Coleman in "Targets of the Illuminati and the Committee of 300[17]" asserts that the Illuminati's intentions include: [18] [19]
  • The establishment of a One World Government with a unified church and monetary system.
  • Further advancement of ideas through mind control.
  • Encouragement of the use of drugs and pornography.
  • Suppression of all scientific advancement unless they considered it acceptable to their aims.
  • Causing the death of 3 billion people by 2050, through wars and starvation
  • Creation of mass unemployment
  • Fracturing of the nuclear family by encouraging teenagers to rebel
  • Use and promotion of rock music to facilitate this rebellion which include rock gangsters such as the Rolling Stones.

luminati Conspiracy Part One: A Precise Exegesis on the Available Evidence

Illuminati Conspiracy Part Two: Sniffing out Jesuits

A Metaprogrammer at the Door of Chapel Perilous

In the literature that concerns the Illuminati relentless speculation abounds. No other secret society in recent history - with the exception of Freemasonry - has generated as much legend, hysteria, and disinformation. I first became aware of the the Illuminati about 14 years ago. Shortly thereafter I read a book, written by Robert Anton Wilson, called Cosmic Trigger: Final Secret of the Illuminati. Wilson published it in 1977 but his opening remarks on the subject still ring true today:
Briefly, the background of the Bavarian Illuminati puzzle is this. On May 1, 1776, in Bavaria, Dr. Adam Weishaupt, a professor of Canon Law at Ingolstadt University and a former Jesuit, formed a secret society called the Order of the Illuminati within the existing Masonic lodges of Germany. Since Masonry is itself a secret society, the Illuminati was a secret society within a secret society, a mystery inside a mystery, so to say. In 1785 the Illuminati were suppressed by the Bavarian government for allegedly plotting to overthrow all the kings in Europe and the Pope to boot. This much is generally agreed upon by all historians. 1 Everything else is a matter of heated, and sometimes fetid, controversy.
It has been claimed that Dr. Weishaupt was an atheist, a Cabalistic magician, a rationalist, a mystic; a democrat, a socialist, an anarchist, a fascist; a Machiavellian amoralist, an alchemist, a totalitarian and an "enthusiastic philanthropist." (The last was the verdict of Thomas Jefferson, by the way.) The Illuminati have also been credited with managing the French and American revolutions behind the scenes, taking over the world, being the brains behind Communism, continuing underground up to the 1970s, secretly worshipping the Devil, and mopery with intent to gawk. Some claim that Weishaupt didn't even invent the Illuminati, but only revived it. The Order of Illuminati has been traced back to the Knights Templar, to the Greek and Gnostic initiatory cults, to Egypt, even to Atlantis. The one safe generalization one can make is that Weishaupt's intent to maintain secrecy has worked; no two students of Illuminology have ever agreed totally about what the "inner secret" or purpose of the Order actually was (or is . . .). There is endless room for spooky speculation, and for pedantic paranoia, once one really gets into the literature of the subject; and there has been a wave of sensational "ex-poses" of the Illuminati every generation since 1776. If you were to believe all this sensational literature, the damned Bavarian conspirators were responsible for everything wrong with the world, including the energy crises and the fact that you can't even get a plumber on weekends. (pp. 3-4)
That short excerpt is perhaps the most honest and succinct introduction to the Illuminati as you'll ever come across. So it is more than a bit ironic that Wilson, throughout the rest of the text, proceeds to perpetuate and expand upon similar myths, and in the process manages to take it to a whole new level. 2 In the end, the Illuminati had mystified Wilson as much as anyone in the preceding centuries.
Robert Anton Wilson (RAW) is an enigma in his own right: an archetypal Trickster in the tradition of Aleister Crowley or Timothy Leary, both of whom he greatly admires. 3 The Cosmic Trigger Trilogy is meant to awaken the reader to multiple mind-blowing streams of thought and completely shatter preconceived notions of perception, time and space - much as the writings of illuminists themselves. Herein lies the seed of speculation to the effect that he must surely be in on the conspiracy - some have gone so far as to believe he's the Grand Master (or inner head) of the Illuminati himself. Wilson has always toyed with the accusations, and in typical RAW fashion, he's never denied it outright.
Cosmic Trigger wasn't the first book Wilson dedicated to the theme, however. Two years earlier, in 1975, RAW and co-author Robert Shea popularized the modern wave of Illuminati conspiracies with the publication of the novel Illuminatus! Trilogy. A veritable cult classic, Illuminatus invigorated the underground market and spawned a whole new generation of conspiracy authors. One cannot read any of RAW's material without a healthy sense of humor, though, and Illuminatus is definitely no exception. Written between 1969 and 1971 it reads like a subversive anarchist manual, yet satirical and surreal at the same time. The cut-and-paste job of excerpts right into the flow of dialogue - from books and pamphlets on a wide range of conspiracy theories - probably boosted its appeal from the beginning.
Any researcher investigating the Illuminati today would be remiss not to mention RAW - especially in a book or document purporting to cover the subject in detail. With the exception of Myron Fagan, "Wild" Bill Cooper, 4 the John Birchers and Biblical endtimes literature, the formation of the current mythos surrounding the subject has a lot to do with the popularity of Wilson's books: have you ever seen the Illuminati and the star Sirius mentioned in the same paragraph?
Before plunging headlong into the history of the Bavarian Illuminati, it might be useful to have a look at Wilson's diagram - his interpretation (at the time) of the "occult conspiracy" as it has been transmitted through the ages (Cosmic Trigger: Final Secret of the Illuminati, p.188):
